About the University
City University of Malaysia was founded in 1984 by a group of scholars who had extensive international academic experience and a sincere commitment to passing on their knowledge to the next generation.
One of the first private universities in Malaysia, the university was granted full university status in 2016.
The university is fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia, and the degrees it awards are recognized internationally. Currently, City University of Malaysia has over 7,500 students.
The university has international students, who make up over 47% of the student population, representing over 70 countries.
Admission information
The university offers eight different foundation programs that help students strengthen their academic foundation, develop key skills, and prepare for undergraduate studies. The duration of the foundation program is 1 year.
The university offers an excellent undergraduate program, developed by professors and industry experts. The duration of the undergraduate program is 3 years.
The postgraduate programs cover a wide range of subjects and are taught by experts and professors in their field. The duration of the postgraduate program is 2 years.
People between the ages of 18 and 45 can apply.
